Responsibilities
- Strategic Collaboration: Establish trust and rapport with internal and external partners to accomplish business objectives through understanding of customer goals, strategies, and capabilities.
- People Development: Takes a Leader as Coach approach to managing team to achieve their full potential and deliver business results while proactively building future talent pipeline.
- Thought Leader: Act as a category consultant to our customers and clients by providing unbiased recommendations to drive overall category growth and our client’s market share.
- Category Growth Strategy Development & Execution: Utilizing research findings to craft and implement robust category growth strategies that drive business objectives and deliver tangible results.
- Foundational Tools and Data Capabilities: Developing and enhancing the tools and capabilities necessary for effective category management and strategy execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within category leadership team, encouraging adoption of new ideas.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field required
Experience: 8+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership in roles across functions in CPG, retail, strategy consulting or agency
Professional Category Management Certification a plus (i.e. CMA, CKMG, TPG, Delta Associates, etc.)

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
